What exactly do SEO services do for your website?

SEO services are a set of technical, content and authority-building work that helps a potential customer see your page and click on it when they search Google for something related to your business. SEO is not buying a position; it is building an asset. Every page that is properly optimized and every piece of content that answers a real question stays on your website and builds on previous work month after month. This compounding effect is what separates SEO from pay-per-click advertising: with ads you pay for every click and traffic stops when the budget stops, but with SEO the money goes into improving the website itself.

Our work always starts with an audit, not with writing articles. First we need to know whether Google can actually see your pages, which pages are not indexed, where titles are duplicated, which pages load slowly, and how far your current content is from what users actually search for. The audit produces a list of problems and opportunities ranked by impact and cost to fix, because in SEO, the right work in the wrong order still wastes time. Writing new articles for a website whose pages don't get indexed is like dressing the window of a shop whose door is locked.

We are also clear about expectations: no one can guarantee a specific ranking on Google, and we don't make that promise either. What we define is a clear goal, measurable indicators and a month-by-month action plan. From day one you know which keywords will be targeted, what work will be done each month and which numbers will measure progress. MyTarh SEO services run on a monthly contract in three packages. If you have an in-house team and only need a roadmap, our SEO consulting page is a better fit; and if your website is a store, e-commerce SEO has its own structure and priorities.

What does SEO work consist of in practice?

SEO is not a single task; it is six interdependent parts. Cutting corners on any of them reduces the impact of the rest. When you get an SEO services proposal from any agency, ask which of these six parts it covers:

Keyword and search intent research

Search volume alone is not the measure; we need to know whether the person typing a phrase wants to buy, compare or learn. Then each page is assigned one main phrase so your own pages don't compete for the same keyword. The output of this stage is a map showing which existing pages should be optimized and which new pages should be created.

Technical SEO

Crawlability and indexability of pages, the sitemap, the robots file, canonical URLs, redirects, speed, Core Web Vitals and schema structured data. If this layer is broken, even the best content won't be seen. Much of this work is invisible, but it is the foundation for everything that follows.

On-page SEO

Meta titles and descriptions, heading structure, page URLs, image alt text and internal links. These tell Google what each page is about and which pages matter most to you. A good title also convinces users to click on the results page, not just Google.

Content creation and updates

New articles for the questions your customers ask, plus rewriting existing pages that have potential but are poorly written. Our measure is a complete answer to the user's question, not word count. Sometimes updating one old page has more impact than writing three new articles.

Link building and domain authority

Earning backlinks from reputable websites relevant to your field. In link building, quality and topical relevance matter more than quantity; mass, irrelevant links create more risk than authority. Link building has the most impact when the target page is technically and content-wise ready.

Measurement, competitor analysis and reporting

Tracking target keyword rankings, organic traffic and new backlinks, and comparing them with the previous month and with competitors in the same results. Next month's decisions come from this data: which page is close to the first page and worth strengthening, and which work had no effect and should change.

What do SEO cost and time to results depend on?

The most important factor is how competitive your target keywords are. A clinic serving one neighborhood can't be compared with an online store selling nationwide; the more serious competitors there are on the first page of results, the more content, the more consistent link building and the more patience you need to reach them. In highly competitive markets it is usually better to start with more specific, less competitive phrases and then move on to broader keywords; this is where keyword research directly affects cost. That is why you should choose a package by looking at the current Google results in your field, not just at your budget.

The second factor is the current state of your website. A website with indexing problems, serious slowness or technical limits in its platform spends the first months fixing these issues, and the impact of content shows later. A brand-new website also usually progresses more slowly because it has no history or authority with Google yet, and in the first months building the right content and technical foundation matters more than anything else. In contrast, a website with acceptable but unoptimized content often shows change sooner once those same pages are optimized. If your website was built by another team, we need admin access or coordination with your current developer to make technical fixes, and this also affects the timeline.

The third factor is consistency. SEO compounds, and stopping it before the work has had time to take effect wastes the most money; three to six months to see the first results is an average, not a promise. Your response time matters too: approving content on time, sharing expert knowledge about your business and granting the necessary access move the project forward. Content written with your real knowledge of the product and the customer is more convincing to users and has a better chance against competitors' generic content.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

SEO is a medium-term process. The first results are usually visible within 3–6 months. Lasting, significant results usually come within 6–12 months.

No. No reputable company can guarantee a specific position in Google results. We define goals, performance metrics and an action plan clearly, and we measure progress with regular reports.

SEO builds long-term organic traffic that you do not pay per click for, but its results come later. Google Ads brings results immediately, but traffic stops as soon as you stop paying. Combining both gives the best results.

Yes. Every package includes SEO content production. Expert articles, product descriptions and optimized landing pages are part of our service.

The monthly report covers keyword rankings, organic traffic, new backlinks and a comparison with the previous month. In the Growth and Advanced packages you also get a weekly report.

MyTarh SEO services come in three monthly packages: Basic at $590, Growth at $990 and Advanced at $1,790 per month. They differ in the number of keywords, content volume, link building and how often you get reports. The right choice depends more on how competitive your field is than on your budget.

On-page SEO covers the content and elements of each page, such as the title, headings, text and internal links. Technical SEO targets the site's infrastructure: indexing, speed, URL structure and schema. Off-page SEO is mostly link building and the authority other websites give you, and good results come from combining all three.

Yes, it can be. Bulk links from low-quality or unrelated sites do not build real authority and can expose your site to a Google penalty. That is why, in link building, we put topical relevance and the authority of the linking site ahead of the number of links.

We usually need access to your website admin panel, Google Search Console and your analytics tool so we can assess the current state and make changes. Alongside that, your knowledge of your customers, your main services or products and the competitors you know helps us do more accurate keyword research and content.

Work already done, such as technical fixes, optimized pages and published content, stays on your site and does not vanish at once. But Google results are not fixed, and if competitors keep working, they may gradually overtake you. That is why SEO is best seen as ongoing work, not a one-off project.

Yes, SEO does not depend on who built the site. The only point is that we need admin access, or coordination with your current developer, to make technical fixes. If the audit shows the platform has serious limitations, we tell you clearly so you can decide how to solve it.

Yes, as long as you do not expect instant results. A new site has no history with Google yet and usually moves more slowly, but if the structure and content are set up correctly from the start, you will not pay extra to fix them later. A local business usually faces less competition, so the Basic package is often a good start.

Search a few of your main business phrases in Google and see who is on the first page. If your competitors are a few small local sites, the Basic package is enough; if active stores and brands are investing in SEO, Growth or Advanced is more realistic. We do this same review together in the free first consultation.
